Nonsurgical Vaginal Rejuvenation

Vaginal rejuvenation has really taken off as a nonsurgical option for vaginal labial contouring, tightening and treating mild urinary incontinence. This a noninvasive skin tightening treatment using applied energy at the vagina (inner canal) and vulva (external labia). Dr. Datta uses a device called Votiva by InMode which uses radiofrequency (RF) heat energy (this is her preference over laser energy). RF heats the skin to resurface it and naturally stimulates new blood flow with deeper collagen and elastin growth for firmness of the skin (think shrink wrap!). The actual procedure is extremely comfortable and takes place over 3 sessions about 4 – 6 weeks apart. You are back to routine activity immediately!

Dr. Datta often combines this with the use of the O – ShotⓇ to further improve incontinence and orgasm. In some cases you may also benefit from hormone therapy or pelvic floor physical therapy to optimize results. Other Office Procedures

Women often consult with Dr. Datta because they dislike (or are concerned about) the appearance or feeling of skin tags or moles at the vagina. Most often these can be comfortably and safely removed right in the office. Besides some minor care you are usually back to your daily routine immediately.

Bioidentical Hormone Pellet Therapy

Dr. Datta has had a wonderful response to her bioidentical hormone replacement pellet therapy. After much research she chose to become a BioTER hormone treatment provider, offering a comprehensive and healthy hormone option for those who suffer with common female and male hormone imbalances like perimenopause and low testosterone.

Dr. Datta will meet with you for an extensive 1 hour consultation to review your symptoms and medical history. She will draw your blood work and look at specific levels of hormones such as estrogen, testosterone and thyroid. Dr. Datta creates an individualized program for you. The hormones are in “pellet” form (essentially a tablet) and are placed under the skin through a tiny incision at the back of the hip.
