Facelift / Necklift

Facelift, or “rhytidectomy,” is a procedure to remove, reshape and reposition aging skin of the face and neck. This will provide a more youthful appearance and reverse the effects of aging and gravity. There are multiple variations to this surgery and the type of facelift will be individualized during your consultation with one of our doctors. Incisions are generally placed around the ear and into the scalp. This procedure is usually performed under general anesthesia and is commonly combined with other rejuvenation procedures. Downtime is contingent on extent of your surgery and comfort level. Our staff is knowledgeable and will educate you on proper post-operative wound and skin care. Our goal is to provide our patients with a long-lasting, natural and youthful result without the over-tightened look.

Browlift

Browlift is a procedure used to reposition drooping eyebrows, decrease hooding of the upper eyelids and smooth out forehead wrinkles. Various techniques are utilized to provide a more youthful appearance to the forehead and eyes, which are individualized to each patients needs. Incisions are generally well-hidden in the hairline or behind it. This procedure is usually combined with other facial rejuvenation options. Downtime is contingent on extent of your surgery and comfort level. Our staff is knowledgeable and will educate you on proper post-operative wound and skin care. Our goal is to provide our patients with a long-lasting and natural result.

Blepharoplasty

Cosmetic surgery of the eyelids, or “blepharoplasty,” removes excess skin and manipulates the fat from upper and/or lower eyelids to restore a young appearance and enhance one’s natural beauty. Patients who benefit from a blepharoplasty often complain of looking tired.  We will construct a plan that addresses both upper and lower eyelids by removing excess skin, removing or repositioning fat, or adding more volume. Upper eyelid incisions are well hidden in natural skin folds and generally heal well. Many times lower eyelid incisions can be hidden or replaced by laser techniques of skin tightening. This procedure is usually combined with other facial rejuvenation options such as a browlift. Downtime is contingent on extent of your surgery and comfort level. Our staff is knowledgeable and will educate you on proper post-operative wound and skin care.

Rhinoplasty (Nose)

Rhinoplasty, or “nose job,” also referred to as “nose molding” or “nose forming” is a procedure in which the structure of the nose is changed. This change can be cosmetic or functional, improving not only the appearance but also breathing. This can be achieved by adding or removing bone or cartilage, using tissue from another part of the body, or implanting synthetic material to alter the shape of the nose. Our patients’ complaints include a nose that has a “hump,” is too large, crooked, or misshapen.  Often times, they desire correction of a deformity after an injury or simply a more pleasing appearance. Incisions are usually made internally at base of nose for a discreet look. Downtime is contingent on extent of your surgery and comfort level. Our staff is knowledgeable and will educate you on proper post-operative wound and skin care. Our goal is to provide our patients with a long-lasting and natural result.

Otoplasty

Otoplasty, or corrective ear surgery, is a procedure to improve the appearance of ears and provide a well-proportioned look to the face overall. Some of our patients complain about their ears being too large, misshapen, prominent, or over-protruding. Incisions are usually made inside and behind the ears and are well-hidden. Specialized techniques are utilized to correct one or more deformities and are always individualized to the patient. Corrective ear surgery is usually done under general anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation and is generally an outpatient procedure. Downtime depends on the extent of the procedure, age of patient and comfort level. We commonly perform this procedure on school-age children, and are happy to accommodate vacation schedules to decrease or eliminate school absences.

Chin Implants

Chin augmentation is a procedure where an implant is surgically placed to enhance the appearance of a small or under-projecting chin. In many patients this procedure is used to establish an overall harmony of facial features. Chin implants are often used in addition to a facelift to enhance the results. Incisions are usually hidden in the natural crease under the chin. The size and shape of the implant is individualized to the patient.

Fat Injection

Fat injections, or fat transfer, is a procedure used to enhance and restore a more youthful appearance of the face. Gentle liposuction techniques are used to harvest patient’s own fat and immediately inject the fat into the face or lips. This procedure is frequently used with other facial aesthetic surgeries. Fat transfer is frequently done under local anesthesia with sedation or under general anesthesia. Although some transferred fat is expected to resorb, the results can be immediate and lasting.

PDO Thread Lift

PDO Threadlifting is a cosmetic procedure that uses fine suture material, a.k.a “threads” or “thread lift”, to lift and tighten sagging skin. PDO Max threads are made from a dissolvable material (polydioxanone) that your body naturally absorbs over time, producing collagen in the process. There are essentially two types of threads—barbed and smooth. The barbed threads provide lifting and support to loose skin while smooth threads solely encourage collagen production. There are different types of smooth threads, and these can be used to fill folds or hollows in your facial contour in lieu of or in addition to traditional injectable fillers. Barbed and smooth threads also can be used alone or together in a unique and personalized combination for lifting, supporting and volumization. The results last between one to two years. Your surgeon will recommend the best combination to produce immediate, natural, and noticeable results!
