Unlike full field resurfacing which removes the entire surface area of a treatment site, a ProFractional laser makes selective narrow-diameter channels into the skin, covering a fraction of the total treatment area in one pass. This will initiate your skin’s wound healing response while leaving the surrounding tissue intact for rapid healing. This laser treatment enhances patient comfort with shorter healing times than a traditional resurfacing laser.
