Microneedling with our favorite nurses!

The downtime following RF (radiofrequency) microneedling can vary depending on the individual and the intensity of the treatment. Generally, the typical downtime can range from a few days up to a week. Here’s what you might expect:

Immediate Post-Procedure: After RF microneedling, you may experience redness, swelling, and minor pinpoint bleeding at the treatment sites. This usually subsides within a few hours.

First Few Days: Over the next few days, the treated areas can appear slightly red or pink, similar to a mild sunburn. Some people may also experience mild swelling and tenderness. Your skin might feel tight and dry during this time.

Peeling and Flaking: Around day three to five post-treatment, you might notice some peeling or flaking of the skin, similar to what occurs after a mild chemical peel. This is part of the skin’s healing process.

Complete Healing: By the end of the first week, the redness and swelling should largely subside, and any remaining dryness or flakiness should improve. Your skin will continue to heal and improve in the weeks following the procedure.
